Re: Where to go in Charlestown SC

Nice relics.
Where'd they come from?
Can't help you on a hunting spot.

There is an old Plantation outside of Georgetown SC on the Sampit River that is being turned into a residential development. We found the old homestead but now it's posted. So we hunt in the building lots that are not sold and not too disturbed by the development project.

Look over in the Johns Island area. Folly beach has had a restoration done not to long ago. Go way down past the last parking. Thats where a lot of the fill from the harbor/river went. Found a LOT of sharks teeth there this summer.

Regardless.....BE CAREFULL there. Get your permission IN writing. There are many treasures waiting to be dug there. Have fun.!
