where to go?

how about a little help.iv never hunted the Ocean before.we are planning a 3 day trip to Panama City Fl or at least that area.around January i guess.how is the hunting there in January? is it an open beach or are there places to avoid. any rules? i will be useing a Tiger Shark and an Excalibur MD .any advice would be appreciated as i dont have a clue about the Ocean other than the tide thing.thanks Dixie Digger
