Commercials and ads they try to advertise during or before the youtube vid. You get paid if you get a certain amount of views Why else would people want to waste hours and hours and hours doing you tube vids for people they dont even know Like even when people do detector vids and comparisons they get paid by youtube and if they get alot of hits on a regular basis now the brands will pay ypou to do comparisons using there brand promoting it I know a few people who do it . Even car repair vids paid for hits and if you promote their part or tool in your vid you get paid.
