I'll take snow over a hurricane any day. Last hurricane up here (Irene), we lost our power for five days. Tough to function with no running water or electricity for that that long...

Tim the voodoo man..In all seriousness you guys down that way stay safe..That storm is looking awfully spooky. .The upside, I bet when it is all said in done, will be some killer hunting by the coast. Yup, I do remember that! Never make fun of people who are suffering through rough weather. Sometimes Karma can bite you in the butt. Hope everyone comes out of it okay, though. This hurricane's going to be a nasty one.

Well here in Lakeland, we've been pretty lucky. Lot of wind at times but nothing but a couple drizzles of rain today. So far...

Nothing but a little rain and wind here in Inverness. Didn't even lose power.
