Which Garretts Detector

What is the better detector for coin and gold ring hunting the Garrett's 1500 or the Garrett's 2500 feedback PLEASE.

garretts gti2500 its a coin magnet mine works great
1500 is a good detector but buy the better detector that way you won't say to yourself
should of bought the gti2500, that way if in the future you want to up grade to the better detector between the two of them you already have it. which ever detector that you choose you will have fun...

Can't go wrong with either one but you'll get more out of the GTI2500 then the 1500 more bells and whistles.

I have the GTI 1500 and wished i had gotten the 2500 at the time.

Did the same thing . Started out with a 1500 and then went to a 2500 hundred. Its a bit heavier and I really don't know how much more I really found with 2500. I was finding a lot of old coins with the 1500. Its good to have a top of the line detector as back up in the car. If Garrett comes out with another top of the line detector I may not be able to control myself and my wife can't either. To many toys!
