Hunted a small swim area that hasn't seen much use since the 1980's. The bottom is a spongy marl that goes about a foot deep to a soft clay and that's about where everything has sunk. The coins are stacked and so close it was really tough to seperate the targets. No rings yet, but I think there should be some under all those coins. I'm thankful that there is very little trash. It's gonna take awhile to clean this place out. Did score a pretty cool whistle and it still works. My dogs hate it. Kevin 100_1068 (800x600).webp100_1071 (800x600).webp100_1072 (800x600).webp

Any silver or old coins yet?

No, Most of the coins are from the 1960's to 80's. Not sure of the age of the whistle. I found a merc not far from this area, so maybe some will show. Really think some rings should be in the mix. Kevin
