That I call the Regulation of insects and poisonous snakes...love the stuff for that reason only, not too fond of it otherwise.

I think it's a Do-It-Yourself Snowman Kit. I got one for Christmas once but I lost it after a week or so.

We thought this year we'd send it down for your entertainment.

Enjoy. There's another bit on the way.

From your pic, it looks like you slipped and fell on the unknown stuff. Enjoy it! It will be gone soon, and no doubt the kids are having fun with it.

1982, I think, Moscow, Idaho. I was at work, and it was snowing and blowing so hard, the parking lot at the store was empty of cars, but also bare of snow from the wind, giving us there a false sense of how bad it was. Early in the afternoon I get a call from my wife. She says she's scared ( she's a South Carolina girl ), she cant see out the front window anymore, the snow is so deep, and when she opened the front door, it was a nice, flat wall of snow, right there. Of course, I thought she was just freaking out, exaggerating. So I was excused and headed home. Huge drifts everywhere, finally navigated to our duplex. She wasn't kidding. Our building faced another duplex across the parking area, and the snow had drifted up to the eves! I had needed to park some distance away and wade through deep stuff to get to our back door slider, where the white stuff was waste deep.

It was three feet of snowfall in about a day. Then it turned to heavy rain, and the roofs around town started giving way. My personal worst snow storm.

I spent "one" winter at Lake Tahoe. Key word, "one." House was located just under Echo Pass, and I had to shovel up to get the snow off the roof. Couldn't see out the living room window on the 4th of July, snow was still above the eves.

Dont worry you are a trained professional metal detectorist. Just make sure you go in all metal mode and give up your hand digger for a snow shovel during your recovery.
