White's Amphibian II Water Land: What's it worth

I was thinking about selling a White's Amphibian II detector but I have no idea what to list it for. Does anyone know what's a fair price to ask? It's been well taken care of and never underwater since I got it from a friend. Here's a few photos.

Re: White's Amphibian II Water Land: What's it worth

This was a fairly nice water detector in it's time and would still hold its own on a beach. It is a VLF and made before Whites came out with the Surfmaster. I would think a price of near $400.00 or slightly more as it does have discrimination.

Thanks for the information. It does have discrimination, however it's manual. There are two controls knobs. One is power which there is on and gets increasingly higher and the discrimination, which also has different levels. Thanks again.

eBay have 2 for sale now, you could check and see what they sell for. I believe that they both are over 350.00.
