I hate hardwired headphones.

Hardwired coils are bad enough, but hardwired headphones are always in the way during set-up and take down, cleaning, etc....what a pain.

Also, I really prefer a bone phone to headphones when I am diving or snorkeling.

I had an old Excal battery pod on hand that I had been meaning to rebuild, but I already have a couple of good pods, so instead of spending $40 bucks or so on a new Ikelite fitting...

I might eventually mod out the coil connector as well, but I really much prefer the 950 to the 12 inch coil most of the time and I don't really ever use this machine where a smaller coil would be productive...

I can now use the same headphones/ bonephone for my Aquapulse, my SeaHunter and my BHID...
