i posted an add on craigslist for metal detectors. i dont really need a new one but i thought i might get a good deal on a back up detector.
a guy wants to sell me a used whites classic 1 for 70bucks is that a good deal?
how well does this detector preform?
he said he will take reasonable offers
is it worth 60?

You might go to the Whites web site and take a look at the manual and determine its capabilities and instructions on its use. I think I would buy it for $60 as long as it works and is in good condition. If you decide its not for you I would be you could get most of your money back. I bought a IDX Pro as a back up, its not exactly what I wanted but it feeds the need to MD.
