Whites Coinmaster

There is a whites coinmaster coming up in an auction near me. What is a good price to pay for it if it works? I need som help fast.
P.S. Are they good detectors??

yes the Coinmasters are Good Detectors.

But I would need to know age and Make.

4900, 5000, 6000 ? D , DI ?, Series 2 , Series 3 ?

if it's at least from the early 80's $2 Hundred, would be my Limit.

however I'm sure a few are worth well over that.

if it has 6 nobs & the one in the middle of the left side says

GEB / TR / GEB MAX it's worth it.
