whites dfx coil question?????

I have a dfx with a 950 coil and i noticed on certain objects the pin pointing is to the left inside edge of the coil rather than the center. Anyone else experience this and is there an easy fix so it points to the center? Thanks Matt.

About the only thing you can do is ensure you are holding the coil as level as possible while pinpointing.

Matt sometimes this happens when the target is on an angle itself. The coil reports the strongest return signal. All detectors do this.

Matt I think Sand man answered your problem for you, as you would say he hit the nail right on the head. I see you are in St. Paul so am I how do you like the weather this month not so great for detecting I would say.
