Whites GMT headphone jack problem

Bought a new GMT as we have moved from the midwest to the San Diego area . My Sun Ray Pro gold headphones work fantastic in my ml Safari, but when I plug them into the GMT ,no sound unless I pull the plug out about a quarter inch . Both have 1/4 in jack as do the sun rays. Any thoughts?

Nevermind .I figured it out . Flipped the Mono/ stereo switch on the sun rays and it works fine ��.
