I really like mine. It's effective, fairly simple to operate, and rugged. I would buy a 4 x6 shooter coil to go with the stock 6 x 10. The shooter is better in brushy, or rocky ground, and works somewhat better in heavily mineralized ground. While the 48khz frequency isn't as sensitive on tiny nuggets, as the GoldBUG2, it is better on larger, deeper nuggets.
