I saw this listed on Craigslist whites treasure Master PI 1000 series 2 it's supposed to be Summersville to 200 feet its listed for $150 is it a good detector and is that a good price for the beach

I had the Mk 1 years ago (perhaps 25 years back), 11" coil, could be used to 200 feet and the pinpointing wasn't bad for the coil size. The worry with the one you have seen is that even as a series 2 its going to be old enough that the performance is likely to have dropped off over the years and Whites may not be able to carry out repairs just because some parts are not on the market any more.
I would ring or e-mail the factory and see what the situation is and if they still have seals in stock. If they will still service it it could be worth a look but I wouldn't buy sight unseen.

call white's like
U.K. Brian suggested that's the only way to tell
I hard they don't fix it any more but that's could be a miss leading roomer
