White's MXT, No Volume. :(

MXT E-Series Eclipse 950

I have the exact same issue. Cosmetically and functionally the unit is great.
But, the speaker doesn't work. With headphones, the unit is very quiet even with threshold jacked.
I love this detector and it works great it's just those volume issues.
I am reposting as White's is no longer available in the US which is where I am located.

I'm new to this site so I'm seeking advice.

I have to give it up, I'm trying to sell my MXT but I would like it to go to someone who appreciates it enough to fix it, maybe someone who can do it themselves.
I guess my last resort would be to try to have someone repair it for me and then sell it.
Or should I just sell the unit "as is".?
Who would even do the repairs anymore?
Would anyone here be interested in it?
