Hi guys! in the USA does anyone collect ferrous metal (iron, steel, cast iron) ??? in Russia we have special teams that dig ferrous metal and turn it in. We have a price of one ton (1000 kg) $ 154 м.webpме.webpмет.webpмета.webp

Farmers in my area throw it in a pile until the price goes up enough. Then you see all of them hauling it to town to sell.

I drag it home and give it to a friend to scrap, HH

what is your price for metal?

The only metal I sell for scrap is brass/copper and lead. If I dragged home all the big iron I found my wife would kill me (to death)!!!!

Nope, not worth the effort IMO, so, I just toss it into the recycle bin. I only keep the non-ferrous metals.

I like that motorcycle that you've got pictured!

This Ural motorcycle is heavy, powerful. I drive almost everywhere on it and I drive a lot of things on it, a good helper. I know that in the USA they love this bike very much.

Just be sure you are selling iron and not parts of meteorites.

we took a load of scrap off customers vehicles and it was at $80 a ton. hardly worth it we made just over $40. the truck was full too.

I have a pile of it in my basement in case I ever get around to selling it for scrap.
