Who dose the Walleye run

Been in the house all winter thinking bout detecting and fishing. I know the walleye run is about to start and I was wondering if there is anyone here that fish the Maumee River. Thinking when they start running and I make the drive I will be bringing my detector with me and after some fishing I would do some detecting. Or detect first the do some fishing. If there is anyone here that would like to get together to do both shoot me a PM....Matt

I used to do that fifty some years ago with my grandfather and other relatives from the Toledo area. Still have a few cousins in Maumee, but I'm in N.Y. these days and only get to OH once in a while. It was great fishing back when I was a kid, is it still as hot as then?? Tight lines and HH!!

yea ther is a lot of fishermen in the water when the walleyes are running. I made a mistake lst year and went on Good friday and you could not even find a parking spot so many people fishing I don't see how a fish made it up river without getting hooked.
