Rain, rain don't go away....

Went to my front hill drainage area to see if I could find anymore glass. Once I made it to the top of the hill, nothing great. I was done-- but I looked down and saw this little guy poking out of a hole that I previously dug.

Just want to know what kind of bullet it is. I think the powder is still in it. I LOVE MY YARD!!!

That's a half incher that may have come off a wooden arrow shaft.

Thanks for the response but what's a wooden arrow shaft? I'm assuming this is a WWI era bullet but I'm not good at bullet ID. ; )
 

I agree with against the wind looks like a old field point tip from a wood shaft arrow. Nice find

This is why I'm not good at bullets. Yep, "Against The Wind" nailed it. It's a heavy piece of lead from an arrow. Looking at it with a loop I can see that what's inside is definitely wood. Thanks all for the education!
