Who wants to go on a group hunt this weekend?

Its been awhile since we had the crew togeather... I have been looking at some old aerial photos and I am pretty sure I found a group of old houses in the woods. in my 1939 photo they were there, but in my 1951 photo they were gone. They could be old houses or just some depression era shanties, who knows - but they were gone in 1951... I have the coordinates but I don't have a gps to find the exact spot.

If anybody is wondering ITS NOT ROBINSON WOODS!!!

This Sat Sun its supposed to be in the mid 70's. Let me know if you want to go. If nobody has a gps, then we could always just go to the camp.

When I get home from work I will put pix of the site and you can let me know what you think it is.

Kermit, I think you can put the coordinates right into the Google map search engine and it will pinpoint it for you. Just a thought. TMAN...

yea, but to actually find my way to the point out in the middle of the woods would be the hard part.

Nope, it's ghost towning out west (Near Galena) for me this weekend.

The buildings look all the about the same size, as the shadows indicate. Lay out is peculiar for a farm site or residential area and visible drives or roads seem to be missing, might be a winnner. Good luck and tear it up!

Looks like no one has a GPS. I've got one, but I'm already tied up with it this weekend. If ya want to hit it some other time, let me know. If you get a GPS or someone else has one & can hunt it sooner - cool!

I will get the gps coordinates tonight at work, If you want to meet at the BS parking lot at 7:30 then we could drive to the other parking lot. If you wanna check out this new spot let me know, I will check this post out all night at work. So far its just me and twistidd
