Whoville meets the land of misfit crafts.

I had huge ideals for upcycling and creating all my (new) X-mas decorations from what I have in my house. I was going to go beyond green in the front and backyards...inside, outside, rightside and rightway.
This folks, is what I was able to muster up...a treetopper made of a veggie can, old mirror pieces, welding wire, a few beads AND tiny marbles.

actually, I wasn't even drinking...but ok, it's your fantasy.

Here goes: I was mixing the eggnog w/ rum from the flask my hubby gave me for our wedding anniversary 7 years ago....it has our names and wedding date engraved on it-- just in case I get drunk-- hopefully I'll remember that I'm married.

well lets see -- we can skip the eggnog bit if you just a normally a little out of the box thinking type person ( which by the way is not always a bad thing -- just means your more of a creative thinker than most folks tend to be)

Jeez, I'm interupting, pardon. I don't have cookies, but I Know the Grinch! Vibes, I love your tree topper, it is so very "who". It would have fit with our float, "Steer Clear of the Grinch". Here's the Grinch, I sculpted his face, cast it in plaster, stuck that and his hands on a decapitated, dancing santa, and we stuck him on our Christmas float, Your creation would have fit right in!
