Why are some 800s upper rod Glossy black and mine is Matte Blk

I doubt it matters. Just curious if one is like older vs newer type thing.

I have no idea. Mine was matte black.

Yeah deff stock shaft/rod. My buddy which got his prob a year before I got mine is glossy black. Mine is Matte.

I've had 2 with the matte black, my new one is gloss and so is my hunting partner's.

When did you get your 800? My guess would be that one is the newer shaft which was supposed to fix the wobble problem.
