? Is there a thread this refers to that I missed? You communication is lacking here. I'm not even trying to poke fun. Just generally confused.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm really bad about that.
Let me give you an example.

Years back I walked out of the ET shop (electronic technician shop) at
work and an engineer came running across the driveway towards me.

"I've lost my work keys. Have you seen them anywhere?"

We all carried two sets of keys, one for work the other for personal stuff.
Not a problem but work keys included one key that we all had to sign a blood
oath never to loose. Custom made about 100 bucks a pop and not copyable.
Wierd looking little critter.

Have you tried dowsing for them I asked.
No he answered.

I reached in my pocket and pulled out my set of keys. Grabbed one by the end
and started letting the rest swing underneath.
Impromptu penduleum.
Also acted as a "witness" (work keys).

Stood there and gazed around the area.
Yep. Keys by the gate. Yep. Keys by the RA pits. Yep. Keys by the PMGB's.
Those keys were all over the area.
I was picking up on remnants.
Changed my wording of the question I was asking to the "here and now".

"They ain't here. They are at your house."

As adamant as he was about bringing them to work with him, he grudgingly
drove to his house and got his work keys.
