My book says Good-$4.00,V.G-$6.00,Fine-$8.00

Has some surface corrosion but it should come off with a little effort.

I'll stick to the Silver; rather suspect the numismatic premiums will evaporate as more & more folk realize and come to grips with the reality of our declining standard of living, especially as we head into the next wave of the economic decline which looks so close from here.

I remember the premiums of high end Auto's and toys in places like Fla, they lost %80 of their former value and are still piled up on the lots with few buyers. One fella told me his home is worth less than half what he paid for it and he is 80K in the hole on it & the foreclosed house next door sold for 35K. Me thinks things will be getting really crazy before too long, everywhere; just saw on News Tn is contemplating laying off 25 State Troopers leaving more than a dozen or so counties with NO State Police presence at all. Yow imagine that, the wild west in TN.

I like searching through pennies as well. I almost did as well as you...found an 1864 L Indian in VF....lady at the coin show offered $120.00. I look through 20,000 weekly. Its childs play with a system and the way the banks are in my area.

I don't do a lot of volume, i only hand search. I usually stop at banks and ask for rolls of cents.

Now that's a nice find! I only do small volume by hand so Indians don't turn up too often.
