Why is the chat always empty ??

It just seems like a great source for the exchange of live info. It's usually the first thing I look at when I log on.

is there a way to find out who's in the chat room before you sign in?

As somebody mentioned Yesterday, Click on the Number after Chat, & it will show who's on! (I didn't know that either)

i get on in the evening and there is usually someone on.

It gets confusing over in chat if there are more than just a few people because you get two or three conversations going on at the same time and with the lag time.......you loose track of the topic. Monty

Chat is hit and miss,sometimes there are a lot of people there and at other times nada. It seems lately there are a lot of people in there between 11 and 1 am eastern. Monty dont be put off by the multiple conversations you will get used to it after awhile. I really enjoy the chat portion of TN,have met a lot of really nice people in there and I enjoy reading peoples posts more after having chatted with them.
