Well back to the pasture. It was only ever going to be a short session , due to aching elbow. Got to allow it to rest, for when the proper detecting season starts, hope there's some nice hammered coins, just waiting for me. Just wondered pretty aimlessly, looking at the swallows chasing flies, and a kestrel hovering, looking for mice in the grass. The wild roses in the hedge row have dropped their blooms. Only to be replaced in patches, by wild honey suckle. I thought the scent of the roses was nice, the honey suckle is something else. Finds, the usual for this field, pre decimal copper coins. Two of queen Victoria, one of her son Edward V11, and a ship half penny of George V1.
