The wife called me at work today while she was at the local Wally World to see if I needed anything. I asked her to make sure she checks the reject bin at the Coin Star after she checks out. She pulled a 64 silver Rosie for me as well as a 1978 French 10 Centimes and 40 cents Canadian. :headbang: She was tickled to find out she pulled a silver today.

Wife's Coin Star Finds

On my way home I had 3 stores to go to. First one for a Valentine's Day card, second store to get a dozen red roses and finally at a local convenient store to get some Kerosene. As I walked around to the passenger side of the vehicle at the convenient store I saw these 2 shine quarters laying on the ground.

The wife got a dozen roses and I am happy for her Rosie gift.

Happy Valentine's Day Everybody.

Dang Bud, you are making me look bad! I've been married 30 years, and if I brought my wife a dozen roses, the first words out of her mouth would be: " What have you done?"
Glad you had a good day and have a great wife.

Hmmm...Roses and Kerosene...Burning-Rose.webp

Nice job you two!
I was also curious about the kerosene lol.

Maybe the kerosene he got came in a box. Don't know??

Most years I only get her a card...if that. She normally buys me about 10 lbs of chocolate and a card. I figured if she doesn't mind being a MD widow every weekend, she deserved something special this year. For once she did not get me anything, but I was tickled that she checked out the reject tray for me. I'll take a silver rosie over a card and some candy any day.

We are both smokers, but do not smoke in the house. The kerosene is for the garage (my man cave) where I can hang with my friends here on Tnet. It's so much nicer to do it in a heated garage than in a cold one.

You both did well for a non dig day.

What a great wife! Treasure hunts for you and gives you the finds. I hope she gets the bling when you find it.

Sweet finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Sure beats slopping around in this mud. Congrats!

Congratulations to you and the bride on your finds and Happy Valentine's Day to both of you.

That’s a great post Loco. I’m glad that you and the wifey had a good Valentines Day.

I look forward to seeing you soon buddy.

Is there a training manual for wives to train them to check Coin Star?:laughing7: mind forgets everytime.

Looks like it was Rosies all around ! Congrats to your wife on her finds.
