Wife's first time out with new machine!

It was 27 degrees but felt way colder with the wind chill. Still my wife really wanted to break in her her compadre christmas present. The ground was just starting to freeze, the far end of a slurpie so this will be our last chance for a while. We got in an hour before our toes froze.

I got my at pro but quickly realized I needed to pinpoint and dig for her so I put it back in the car. She kept me busy, I was impressed how well she was able to point out where to dig and I never had to search around that much. By me digging she could get used to the tones, "little beep" got a new name rather quickly to "Penny". It's so light she was really liking the weight and balance. Point and click simplicity so she never asked me even one question.

I was impressed with her nickel to penny ratio, I have a feeling she'll be digging more gold than me in no time!

The angel token is neat, not marked I assume clad. She found a guitar capo which is something I've never found. Then the usual junk, but all in all I'm impressed with my wife and the machine! Can't wait till spring! HH all!

half the battle i getting something that is easy for them to get started with, after a few decent finds (a gold chain for my wife) and they are hooked. congrats

Thanks guys, I think she's hooked! Which is great because that means the detectors can start coming on vacations or maybe even vacations built around detecting!

Here are a couple more of the angel, it's odd that it doesn't have a hook for a pendant or anything. Maybe a protection talisman? It rings in between 65 and 75 but mostly 74-75 on the at pro. Maybe pewter?
