Will a Fisher 1200 series coil, work on a Fisher Coinstrike detector?

I have a 10 1/2'' or 10'' coil from my 1266 X Fisher. That I'd like to put on a coinstrike, if it will work.

Even if the pins match, the coil won't work right because it has to be calibrated to the detector model.

Thanks Sandman, I didn't think it would work. I saw a used one on ebay, I will check it out.
