Hey Tim, I like it - particularly the propeller-like display when it's working. It probably provides lift and that's why the kid can't get it close to the ground.

Plus, the announcer says it will find "ju-ler-ey"

They wouldn't put it online if it wasn't true! To heck with detector sandals, for $30 each, I think I'll buy two and wire one to each leg! Then I can find twice the julery! :icon_thumleft:

Evidently a couple of kids used the same detector and had some amazing success with it:

Note to Mayo:
Your folks warned you about the dangers of "gateway activities" such as md'ing....

Dang Neil let's go get us some julery!

I still think this would be great on a sledding hill Rando. Especially if someone else was doing it!

Strike it rich!!!!!!!!!

All right guys, it's time for me to clear the air. I haven't used my M6 all year, I've been making all of my finds with this Sportsman detector. It kicks @$$. I was going to pick up an etrac, but I tested out the Sportsman detector and within moments found the metal shelf it was placed on. I was hooked!

In all seriousness, yeah, what a sham. I wouldn't even buy one of those for a very small boy, I'd at least get him a BH or an Ace.

Mayo, nice video. I only watched the movie up until the part where the two kids find the "sugar". The only thing I can say is, well, I just don't think it would take two people to operate that tiny toy. Which leads me to believe that perhaps there's a hint of homosexuality there. Just my 2 cents (all I ever found with the Sportsman's detector).
