William Eaton Sterling Silverware- Cannot figure out date! Ughh

So decided I would final list all my silverware. Figured out everything from all the hallmarks, but this one date mark. I cannot figure it out for the life of me. Anyone have any idea? I know it's around 1836-1855. From London England. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have been learning about the marks myself lately, here is my stab at it. The leopard head and rampant lion symbolize London Assay office, the woman head would symbolize Queen Victoria 1838-1890 time period, and the Date mark is the old english style D appears to be 1839.

I've been using

British Sterling - English Hallmarks, Irish Hallmarks & Scottish Hallmarks

working great.

I thought it was a D also, but it looks different than the picture.

If you are in CA, can't you find a silverware matching service to take these to and get a price? They may be able to tell you all the details about the pieces. Most services will try to buy for scrap, but a good service good be helpful to you.
