We have had Galeforce winds for the last few days. Scouted some beaches went out for about two hours, started working the coin line, and then eventually found some silver.

Where is the coin line? If you went in the water to detect, how did you manage with the waves continually crashing into you? That's what keeps me out of the water most of the time.

When I start working a new beach or one that I haven’t hunted in a while, I will go up and down from sand dunes to water like a tide chart for a few hundred feet then I will look back and see where I dug the most line the holes up with the waterline. No water hunting this particular hunt.

Nah...Im a has been...my glory days are behind me
that day was one of my bravest - Ft.Laud. fla. - real bad storm - that beach is like glass on a nice
day but i went down for a few days and had to take what i could get
I actually went in with mask and snorkel but had them knocked off a few times
I got a few finds but i didnt last more than an hour
I have gotten some good finds in past getting in when others wouldnt or couldnt
A hunting friend of mine that used to live there (moved to gulf side) - sat and watched me get battered
Said he can wait till it calms down. There has been a few times i got in to blow outs first before the locals by
taking a chance. My best 4 day trip I got 26 pieces of gold by finding a nice hole in Fla. waters after a storm while locals waited.
