I bought a 3" deep cardboard lid about 12"x12" full of mainly small windup ladies' watch movements and assorted pieces of jewelry.
I found some sterling earrings and a 14kt earring hoop, and a 10kt ring with the stone removed. Also a pendant barley marked 14kt. It appears the seller scraps the watches and sells the watch cases and small gold pieces for scrap gold....There is enough gold to more than pay for the cost of the whole box....
Makers like Seiko, Waltham, Elgin, Guren, Bulova, Genenva, Movado, Benrus, Omega, Hamilton, Longines, by the dozen. There are others with two names like: Bunche-Girod, Germinal-Voltaire',
Jules Tergerson, Chas Perbet Colon, Giarid Perregaurx, Paul Buhre', La Clocke', and many others.
I also found 1 "Rolex-Genenva" clone, and 4 Rolex movements with dial, hands, and setting knobs.
What would you do with these?
