If, like me, some of you are interested in the historical aspects of the treasure beaches I can highly reccommend the CD
produced by Mr. Douglas Armstrong. It is great research on the Winter Beach salvage site which was one of two known camps.
There is great information in this research regarding the dunes, elavations, and much of the information also pertains to the salvors camp at the McLarty treasure museum. Also some great photos of recoved artifacts.
I am finding the information helpful in my understanding of beach dynamics as it relates to sand and the movment of sand
from Bonsteel/Chucks south to the Corrigans site.
