Always good to get the silver :)

I'm off to watch 007. Speak later. Heres one of my fav quotes 'I love it when a plan comes together!' (not from James Bond though)

Nice finds as usual Cru! Is the thimble silver?

I wish it was 75, no its only 38. I guess we used to average about 15 a year! Most UK detectorist would rather a nice hammered than a roman coin (but I know you know this!). They are quite hard to come by in most of our fields. Only the odd field has produced about 30 over the years & thats our 1st Fav.

OK thanks, I thought 75 was something you mentioned, guess something else. But 38 is a lot of hammered, that is for sure! Great success this year!

Curved piece of brass in the upper right hand corner of the second photo is a Military relic, is it not?

Nice hunt for you--it looks like you will beat last years record (and last year was a good one for you too, if I remember correctly!) :o

If you ever need to dispose of a Snake, you know who you can mail one to.

Best Wishes,

Buckles
