Winter digging tools?

What do you use to dig in the winter months? I live in Minnesota and would like to know a good method for digging in frozen ground? I got the if you dig in the woods the ground is less frozen tip. Any others?

My advice..... wait until spring!!

So you get a nice deep silver hit..... if you are chopping and stabbing at the ground then there is a pretty good chance you probably scratch or even break the coin in half depending on what it might be.
