Was 51 degrees here and the digging was good, but sloppy.

X-Mas Day in Virginia; Charlottesville (UVA) at 53 & Partly Cloudy; NO snow yet in this area. MAYBE storms in January & February, 2017... dunno. Gonna plant outside in March, after the New Moon. TH'ing...? PROBABLY in the mountains last week of March.

X-mad day in North Dakota; Jamestown. Cloudy wind 17mph and 11 degrees. Third Blizzard of the year forecasted for tonight after midnight. Gonna plant outside after the 4ft thick frozen ground thaws out. Around June 1st.[emoji23]

19 here Christmas morning. 20mph wind, and a bunch of new snow. Going to spend a few hours digging out it looks like.

We had a White Christmas in Prescott. The great thing about snow in Prescott is rarely lasts more than a day or two. Okay sometimes three days. Here are a couple of pictures taken from our house. One another thought about snow, it is great for the cat we inherited after Betty (Col. U. S M. C.) died. We can now let the cat out and she goes no where! Needless to say there was no barbecue or grilling this Christmas

It was 89 degrees this Christmas here at our place. I have a Compadre further South in our county who is the Santa Claus of his small town. He has his welding rig pulling a utility trailer full of sacks with wrapped toys as he, and my Comadre who dresses as Mrs. Santa sit under a large umbrella with a mic wishing everyone a Merry Christmas while they go through town delivering toys to all the kids. I am sure it was at least 90 there, even hotter under that Santa suit.

Those storms brought a lot of water to the SWA.The attached photos are from yesterday. The amount of water coming down LaBarge Canyon rivals any stream up on the rim.
