I have used the TDK WR700's and liked them. Still my favorite wireless headphones is the Auvio 33-283 I have 3 sets of them and hope they last as long as I do!

I have a WR700 but have not tried it on my metal detector. I have noticed that if there is not constant sound being sent to them, they turn off in a very short time. They are great for music but I'm afraid I would miss targets when they suddenly turn off. I'm still looking for a better option.

After doin more looking on info for them theres a thread on here tnet with quite a bit of people using them with great results & also funny thing on YouTube theres a guy using them with the 705 minelabe & they have awesome responce & what seems like no lag time either I just got the 705 tomorrow ill be borrowing a pair of the tdk's so ill let yas know how it turns out, I could see them cuz there wireless shuting off but ud have to go quite awhile without getting any signal at all & luckily I also have threshold volume in the background to

Keep us posted on how they do.

With my AT Pro set in Pro zero with iron discrimination set at 35, I have no issues with my headphones shutting off due to no signals since it goes off every 2" LOL!

Well I picked up the headphones set it up on the 705,& tell you truth I am pretty impressd considering these headphones aren't even detector headphones they sound unbelievable everything is very very clear & crisp. Now obviously in my part its snowy out so I went out side reguarless set a quarter, dime, penny, nickle, nail, tin foil (gum wrapper) a bullet casing & a lead bullet I swept them pretty fast & I thought I'd would definitely miss something to my surprise I hit each peice with a different tone on each & I swept fast mind u I am used to the fast responce due to using the deus xp. I'm definitely gonna stick with these ill get a real feel for them on a real hunt but for now very responsive, comfortable, very clear my settings I used were
Program 1
Hit all metal
Volume 26
Thresh hold 22
Did an auto noise cancel & an auto ground balance
99 tones to see what the headphones would be like

Thanks for the info.

They are worth it ill tell ya,that & I didn't think they would work anywhere near an actual wireless detector headphone setup like on my deus or the v3i I had but they do & I think sound is better threw these then the v3i headphones really
