In this undated image taken from video provided by KOMOnews.com, Lindsay Hasz holds a rare pearl that she found in her seafood meal while dining at an Italian restaurant in Issaquah, Wash. Hasz said she took it to a gemologist, who determined it was a Quahog purple pearl worth about $600.

That location's Yelp rating just went up LOL. Fun story, glad she didn't end up swallowing it. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! It's great that she bit into it, if she'd have swallowed it she'd have never known...

Maybe we should all check our stools prior to flushing, after eating clams! Imagine how many black pearls have been flushed unknowingly!

I've never heard of a "quahog purple pearl" before.... Good story!

FYI

QUAHOG CLAMS ARE SOME OF THE OLDEST LIVING CLAMS ON THIS UNIVERSE...

OOPS....MY BAD...CAPS KEY IS STUCK AGAIN...

LESSON LEARNED...NEVER TYPE AFTER EATING STEAMERS WITH YUR FINGERS...:laughing7:
