Woman hit McDonald's window over McNuggets

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Police say an Ohio woman punched through a McDonald's drive-through window because she couldn't get Chicken McNuggets.



Twenty-four-year-old Melodi Dushane has pleaded not guilty to a vandalism charge in Toledo. Police were called Friday to the restaurant where she allegedly became upset because chicken nuggets weren't available.


Police say Dushane was treated for injuries, then jailed. She was released on a recognizance bond and ordered not to have contact with the restaurant. The phone number for her home address isn't listed.


A manager at the McDonald's declined Monday to discuss the incident.


A Fort Pierce, Fla., woman was cited last March on a charge of misusing 911 after calling three times to complain about not getting McNuggets she ordered.

Having worked in Detroit and later living in Monroe, MI (About 15 miles from Toledo) I can say I am not surprised.
Toledo is ALMOST as bad as Detroit.

Detroit is a selfish, angry, bleeding boil on the rear of the country. It is filled with criminals, half witted "gangstas", people who view welfare as a source of income and their children. It would seem that children are the only thing they can produce.
I feel sorry for the few good people that ahve to live there.

Sad, actually. they were both once BEAUTIFUL places.

I agree Toledo is a dive, and yes it reminds me of a little Detroit.

Both places I don't care to visit again.
