When I got my change back today at the store this merc caught my eye. I was think holy cow is that really one I had never seen one other than on the tnet. I am estatic about finding I even though it wasn't out MDing. It looks to be in pretty good shape no major scratches Just a weird discoloration on the edge. I saw the D for the Denver mint on the back but was wondering what the small w is for on the front?

Nice way to start a silver coin collection :icon_thumright:

Not bad at all. I got a 1907 injun the other day in my pocket change. I was shocked. First time I have ever got one of those in my change.

Nice pocket change find...silver is always good.

I had clients out at the track and one got a Merc back in a payout. They thought it was a foriegn coin until I explained what it was then she gave it to me and said she did not want it. I'm never one to turn down silver coins...
