We just hit a couple local park and a school. News said rain all day, I got a 6 hour day of detecting before the first drops fell. Just going to the local parks for a clad hunt, didnt want to go out to far due to not knowing what the weather was going to be like. Anyway, I dug 60 coins...$3.65 worth and a fake silver ring ::). The highlight of the day was pulling a 42 wheatie out of the ground...and it looks REALLY good considering the way our soil kills the pennies.

Wheeties are always nice!! No rain so you can get out and hunt is even better!! Congrats!!

Nice wheat. Good parks are bad for zincs if they are fertilized regularly. 60 coins is a lot of holes. GL

Laater...

Hey, pretty good for just doing the parks and a school. A wheat is always nice, IMO. Congrats.

Yeah, there's places around here where, if I spent an hour or two to find one or two wheats, I'b be very happy with the hunt. Good chunk of change there. 8) HH

Someone has to do it ;D

Ahhhhh, it's not all that bad ::)

hey great hunting man. I always consider the hunt a success if I dig a wheat or something special. If anyone has ever visited the pacific northwest its very easy to see why people would just love to live out there regardless of the rain. To me its the most beautiful place in the country with the Olympic as well as the Cascade Mountain ranges, not to mention Puget Sound,Juan de Fuca straights, the Orcas islands oh and of course the Pacific Ocean. Combine that with a very moderate climate year round, its hard to top,HH...Shoot

It may be a fake silver ring but I still think it is a cute find ;D

And a Wheatie. . outstanding! Have a big spot in my heart for any & all Wheats!

Nice bit of finds there! ;D

Cool digs! It's been raining here for the past two days and now I am back to work for 4 days straight. Hopefully the weather will not take a turn for the cold before my next set of days off.

Next weekend it is going to be sunny ;D

I am planing a trip to a researched spot I have found.....With any luck, I hope to find at least one silver coin 8)
