Had to drop my daughter off at a youth group function at 6:30 tonight so I figured I would go hit an old house that I just go permission to dig at.
Right away I was digging pieces of aluminum siding. About 15 minutes into the hunt I get a sweet silver hit. Next thing I realize is the coin is in the plug and I had to go back to the roots to pop it out. Less that 2" deep was a nice 1908 O Barber dime! SWEET!!!
about ten minutes later I dig a neat good for 5 cents trade token. Then a 1903 Indian head, then a 1919 wheat, Then a very cool Watch Fob. Silver plated Potato fob for Iron Age Potato Machinery. "May 7, 07" I love this Fob as we don't see them very often up here. I also got a 1954 play nickel. A few odds and ends, one clad dime and nickel, and many trash items. I will return to this house!
Pics are not the best, I was in a hurry because my battery was dying!
Also see this mornings sunrise!
