I am looking for terms that describe metal detecting, or treasure hunting. :icon_study:

Here in California, we call it "dirt fishing" and I've heard it called
"coin shooting" too.

What other terms, phrases, expressions are you familiar with? :icon_scratch:

Thanks in advance.
:coffee2:

Dirt fishin is one I hear a lot.

Contemporary Recreational Archeological Process Manager And Numismatist, then
we could use just the initials:

C.R.A.P.M.A.N
