Try taking your pictures in daylight. But, not in direct sunlight.

Hmmm flip phone pics? Hard to tell from the pics when you compare to a Quartz point that your 100% sure of do you see the same markings ? All of my Quartz points if you look close in good lightning you can see the pecking / knapping marks. I would compare them and see what you think.
