I was out at a farm sale about 40 miles from town today and while walking around checking out all the cool stuff laying around I got quite a few shots with my phone of a bi plane that was crop dusting across the way. Cool to see an old plane like this still working. (not working as in running, but working as making money for the pilot :) )

Without researching it, I presume those old bipes would work exceptionally well for the low-altitude low-speed flight required for crop-dusting; I expect that they have a very low stall speed, and probably have fairly short take-off and landing requirements.

Purely unqualified guesses though.
