This event took place in the late 1890s, and we set out to rescue artifacts in cooperation with the Coal Creek Watershed Foundation and the Coal Creek Miner's Museum.
Check it out!

....Now THIS is cool . Do they offer lunch ?:icon_scratch:

All the worms and grubs you dig free of charge. This is a really cool event. How would you like to digging up that history?

Don't normally watch video's but I like what your doing, more should consider it, its a win win in my eyes.

I would volunteer for something like that.
WTG!!

Nice!...funny thing, I was approached recently by one of the Parks and Recreation fellows (who recently booted me from a city park-yes there's a ban...)...but he saw me in my little deli hangout and approached me about a possible project the city is working on regarding finding and documenting the actual path of the Zane Trail that went through this area during the development of the country. So I am hoping this works out, basically limitless permissions (with property owner consent of course)...great job on your project, looking forward to seeing the results...Ddf

Thank you all for the awesome comments! To end the Coal Creek War series, here is Part Two! Thank you all for watching!
