Not sure on this one, only to say war dogs were used for many different reasons. Thought I would post it though.

Until someone pipes in - I searched Google and found an article (Ogden Standard-Examiner - 17 Oct 1944 - Dogs trained for police work are being used at the Utah ASF Depot to accompany women guards...)...
