Hi Everyone. I found this in a box of misc. items and coins I got at a garage sale. I haven't been able to find anything out about it, other than it reads world's fair. It is bronze and about 8oz. Anyone have any info (history/value, etc) they could share about this thing?

Thanks!!

Neat bronze!

"WGN" is a local TV & radio station in Chicago so I would venture a guess that this may have been one of many
recognition pieces that were presented to financial contributors to the Lincoln pavilion project back in the 1960's.

As to it's value, I have no idea except whatever someone would be willing to pay.

Nice piece!

Thanks again for all your help on this!!

I was doing some research going off the link and description above. Please let me know if I am wrong, but is the Brenner who is on the VDB (ooh I'd like to dig one up) pennie, the same one that designed this bronze? Obviously not the one who made it, but did they take the design from VDB?
