Hn.. I kind of stirred this up a little... first.. yes.. I'll take any silver!!! Ironically.. I don't have a lot after 20 years... being a relic hunter.. it is pure luck when silver pops up.. generally only old house sites that have some potential for some good relics... I did get a good barber dime at an old last last month.. but that was over shadowed by a few good buttons so... I don't usually post everything.. I am also luck enough to live on the East coast.. in an area that has a lot of history.. soo.. I was posted that one because.. mad.. looked likesome one beat the crap out of it!! To those of you who don't have one... there out there.. you will find them... better machine?? well.. I've said to many people.. it's nit the machine.. it is the machine's coil passing the object in just the right way!!! I've walked behind people and popped stuff out of holes they started.. and I have had people dig great stuff all around me while I'm digging horse shoes? I went with my Dad once.. if he actually read the manual I would have been surprised!!! I dug a nice little Union eagle button while he dug a US plate and two VA one piece buttons... feet from me!!!! Great machine.. plently of reading up on it.. research. all of that... still boils down to it has to be your coil passing over the object over everything else... soo.. keep swinging!!! The ironic thing is.. the day my Dad did so well.. his knee was bothering him so bad.. I dug the US plate for him!!!! Talk about humbling.. "Yah, got another beer can... what you get... "oh, another VA btton!!! ;-)
